A solemn and grace-filled celebration of the Blessing of the Tabernacle and Dedication of the Altar was held on 12 June 2026 at Christ Light of the World Church. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Duming Dias, who led the faithful in a meaningful celebration marking an important milestone in the life of the parish.

In his homily, Bishop Duming Dias emphasized the significance of the church as a place of the presence of God, a place of prayer, and a place of holiness. He reminded the congregation that the church building is not merely a structure of stone and mortar but a sacred space where God’s people gather to worship, pray, and grow in faith.

Following the Holy Mass, a brief ceremony was held during which Fr. Romeo Fernandes was officially entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the Parochial Administrator of the parish. The appointment was formally handed over by Fr. Lancy Rodrigues in the presence of the outgoing Parish Priest, Fr. Anthony Rodrigues.

During the felicitation program, Bishop Duming Dias and Fr. Anthony Rodrigues expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed towards the renovation of the church. Special appreciation was extended to Fr. Intru Pinto for his dedicated support, Rony Rozario for overseeing the renovation works, and to all the parishioners whose commitment and generosity made the project possible. sincere thanks to the numerous benefactors and well-wishers whose prayers, encouragement, and financial assistance helped bring the renovation work to completion.
