Diocese of Karwar Clergy Meeting Strengthens Spiritual Renewal and Mission
The clergy of the Diocese of Karwar gathered for a two-day meeting on February 12 and 13, fostering prayer, reflection, and pastoral guidance. The gathering commenced on the evening of February 12 with a solemn time of adoration and vespers, setting a spiritual tone for the meeting.
On February 13, the clergy united in morning prayer, followed by an inspiring talk by Rev. Dr. T. Lourdu Swamy, who emphasized the significance of the jubilee as a time for renewal and faith-filled celebration. The sessions then moved into a period of preparation for the Sacrament of Confession and the Holy Eucharist, reinforcing the essential role of these sacraments in the life of the Church.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Duming Dias, Bishop of Karwar, addressed the priests, offering pastoral guidance and encouragement in their mission. The meeting concluded with the Angelus, bringing the gathering to a prayerful and unified close.
This meeting served as a moment of grace, strengthening the clergy in their commitment to service, renewal, and the deepening of their faith journey.
