Marriage Preparation Course Empowers 51 participants for a Faith-Filled Union

The three-day residential marriage preparation course took place from 7th to 9th March 2025 at Puneeth Sadan, Shirwad, Karwar, bringing together 51 participants. The program was designed to equip the participants with the knowledge and spiritual foundation necessary to build a strong and faith-filled family.

The course covered essential aspects of married life, including effective communication, conflict and reconciliation, relationships with parents and in-laws, marriage and Cannon Law, complementarity of man and woman, and the spiritual dimensions of marriage. Experienced persons led the sessions, offering valuable insights and practical guidance. Through interactive discussions and group activities like skit presentations on the topics covered in the sessions, participants engaged deeply with the topics, fostering open and meaningful conversations. The supportive environment encouraged the participants to share their thoughts and experiences, making the learning process both enriching and impactful.

Beyond the sessions, the program emphasized spiritual renewal. Participants actively took part in the Eucharist, adoration, Way of the Cross, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, allowing them to deepen their relationship with God. These moments of prayer and reflection helped the participants strengthen their faith and recognize the sacredness of the marital bond they were preparing to enter.

The course concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, marking the participants’ commitment to a well-prepared and faith-driven marriage. Many expressed their gratitude, sharing how the course provided them with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
