The Preran Shibir Planning Meeting was held on 04 March 2026 at the DPC Hall, Shirwad, Karwar, in the presence of the seven Deans and Zonal Chief Coordinators. The meeting commenced with a prayer led by Rev. Fr. Sachin D’Souza. Rev. Fr. Silvan Rodrigues then presented the detailed timetable, explaining the schedule and the responsibilities assigned to the various teams.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Duming Dias, Bishop of Karwar, briefed the gathering on the objectives and significance of the Preran Shibir. He emphasized the importance of unity, proper coordination, and active involvement from all the deaneries. The bishop also invited suggestions from the deans and chief coordinators, who shared valuable inputs regarding organization, participation, and the smooth execution of the program.

A group discussion was subsequently held with the zonal team, during which practical aspects and local arrangements were discussed in detail to ensure effective implementation at the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Rev. Fr. Stany Crasta, who expressed gratitude to the Bishop, the Deans, the Coordinators, and all those present for their cooperation and commitment towards the success of the upcoming Preran Shibir.
