Resource persons for the remote preparation for family were successfully trained in the TOT held at Shirwad.

The Training of Trainers (ToT) for Remote Preparation was successfully conducted by the Diocesan Family Commission on 2nd February, 2025, with 50 participants from across the Diocese. The session was led by Mr. Francis D’Cunna from the Diocese of Mangalore, who provided valuable insights and guidance to equip trainers for their roles in the preparation process.

The Remote Preparation Program is designed for students of Class 7 to 10, aiming to provide them with a strong foundation in faith, values, and personal growth. The main focus of the training was the book “Growing Joyfully,” which served as the core resource for the session. Mr. D’Cunna elaborated on its key themes, emphasizing its role in guiding students through their formative years with a faith-based approach. The discussions and activities were centered around effectively utilizing the book to foster growth, understanding, and engagement among the students.

The event also included a Eucharistic celebration led by Fr. Gabriel Monis, adding a spiritual dimension to the training. The session concluded on a positive note, with participants discussing the implementation plan, making Deanery groups, and also expressing their appreciation for the enriching experience and the valuable knowledge imparted by Mr. D’Cunna.

At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to all attendees. This training marks a significant step in strengthening the trainers’ capabilities and reinforcing the commitment to quality remote preparation for students in Classes 7 to 10.
