The renovated Our Lady of Piety Church, Kone, was solemnly blessed by Most Rev. Dr. Duming Dias, Bishop of Karwar, on 18 October 2026. The occasion marked a significant moment of faith and renewal for the parish community. Bishop Duming Dias was warmly welcomed at the church gate by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. At the conclusion of the Eucharistic celebration, Rev. Fr. Edwin D’Souza expressed his gratitude to the Bishop, the concelebrating priests, and all the parishioners and well-wishers who gathered for the occasion. As a token of love and appreciation, he felicitated Bishop Duming Dias with a shawl, garland, and fruits.
